Book a pottery party for hens nights, birthdays, team building, couples, families and celebrations. Hand build and design your own special mug, vase or cup and a small bowl, then play on the pottery wheel for fun, get muddy and make a bowl. Everything is included: clay, tools, both firings and step-by-step guidance from Astrid. Choose a two hour session at $120 per person or a three hour session at $155 per person, day or evening.

Choose your pottery party experience
Finish the year around a wheel instead of a pub table. Your group decorates a mug and a vase with a Christmas theme, with step-by-step guidance, all materials, glazing and both firings included. Day or evening sessions, tailored to your numbers, and everyone goes home with something they actually made. Christmas dates through late October, November and December book out quickly, so get in early. Your date is not confirmed until a deposit is paid, and deposits are non-refundable.

GOOD TO KNOW
A two hour session is $120 per person and a three hour session is $155 per person, with everything included: clay, tools, glaze and both firings. Tell Astrid your numbers and she will confirm the total.
Send an enquiry with your preferred date, group size and session length. Astrid will confirm availability and send deposit details. Your date is not held until the deposit is paid, and deposits are non-refundable.
Private pottery parties take 4 to 16 people across 6 pottery wheels. Tell Astrid your numbers and she will tailor the session.
Yes to both. Corporate team days and work Christmas parties are all welcome. Mention it in your enquiry so Astrid can shape the session around your group. Christmas parties have their own page with the available dates on it.
At a standard party each guest creates 3 pieces: a hand-built mug, vase or cup, a small bowl, and a wheel-thrown bowl made while playing on the pottery wheel. At a Christmas party everyone decorates a mug and a vase with a Christmas theme.
Everything is glazed and fired after your party and ready for pick up 2 to 6 weeks later. Firing and cooling simply take time.
