Something your team will actually talk about
Astrid runs the whole session with step-by-step guidance, so nobody needs any experience and nobody sits out. Your group hand builds and decorates a mug and a vase with a Christmas theme, gets muddy, laughs a lot, and leaves the cleaning up to us. Everything is included: clay, tools, underglazes, glazes and both firings. Day or evening, tailored to your numbers.

How booking works
FOUR STEPS, NO SURPRISES
Step 1
Send your enquiry
Pick a date, tell us roughly how many people and whether you want two hours or three. The form shows you the estimated cost as you go, so there are no surprises.
Step 2
Astrid confirms and takes a deposit
She comes back to you within 2 business days with availability and a final quote. Your date is not held until the deposit is paid, and deposits are non-refundable, so the sooner you lock it in the better.
Step 3
Your session
Turn up in clothes you do not mind getting clay on, bring your drinks if you want them, and Astrid takes care of everything else. Two or three hours of hand building, decorating and getting muddy together.
Step 4
Collect your pieces
Everything is glazed and fired after your party. Firing and cooling take time, so your pieces are ready for pick up 2 to 6 weeks later. Book in November and they make very good Christmas presents.
What it costs
2 hours, $120 per person. 3 hours, $155 per person. That covers the studio, Astrid running the whole session, clay, tools, underglazes, glazes and both firings. There is nothing else to pay on the day. A group of 12 doing the three hour session works out at $1,860.

GOOD TO KNOW
Send an enquiry with your preferred date, group size and session length. Astrid confirms availability and sends deposit details. Your date is not held until the deposit is paid, and deposits are non-refundable. A Friday or Saturday in party season is the studio’s most in-demand slot, so it is worth moving early.
Groups of 4 to 16 work well across our 6 pottery wheels. Tell Astrid your numbers and she will tailor the session.
None at all. Every session is built for complete beginners and Astrid guides the whole group step by step. Wear clothes you do not mind getting clay on.
A mug and a vase each, decorated with a Christmas theme, glazed and fired. Ready for pick up 2 to 6 weeks after your party.

Ask. The listed dates are the ones currently set aside for parties, but Astrid will always look at what else is possible. Choose “Another date” on the form and tell us what you had in mind.
